EVERY minute at school is a learning minute. Students can not learn if they are not in the classrooms. Please help us make learning a TOP PRIORITY by:
1) Make every effort to avoid student absences and check-outs by scheduling doctor/dental/vision/hair appointments after school dismisses.
2) Ensure all check-outs are for emergencies and medical purposes only.
3) If at all possible, check out only your child who has the appointment. Allow siblings to remain in class.
REMEMBER, it's best for a child to be in class when a skill is being introduced, explained, and practiced, That depth pf the lesson can not be experienced in make-up. If missed, the opportunity for that depth is lost.
If you would like to conference with your child's teacher, you may schedule one by calling the school office, or by making arrangements ahead of time with your child's teacher. "Drop-in" conferences are not allowed because they interrupt instruction time, and they don't allow teachers to give you and your child the attention you deserved.
